Rialto wildlife control tip of the month:

What is the best bait to trap a raccoon?

Are you thinking about the best Rialto animal control bait for the raccoon? They are not picky eaters; they merely eat anything available for them to eat. They can eat on dog food, cat food and anything on your table or in the garbage bin. So If you will trap them, you can use anything as a bait, though some says that they will be lured to marshmallows. The only problem is that the bait might also be eaten by the other animals. You must always keep in mind that your goal is to trap the raccoons only, so the bait that you will use most not be persuaded to the other animals. In picking a bait for raccoons, trap the placement and setting up are both important, but it is the bait that will invite the animal to get in the trap. Some of the baits you can use that will not be persuaded to the other animals are as follows.

• Marshmallows
Raccoons are so in love with the marshmallows and they are among the baits that you can use to live trap them without attracting other animals. You can also use a small marshmallow, but the larger ones are the best, because it will be hard for these foes to pull them off without going inside the trap.

• Clean foil
You can hang a piece of clean foil at the back of the trap just behind the trigger pan. Suspend the piece of foil by tying it using a string on top of the Rialto wildlife removal trap. Because raccoons are intelligent and curious beings, the shiny and dangling foil will be more than enough to persuade them to get into the trap. Using the foil can help in eliminating the rotten smell that may invite unwanted guests. It may sound untrue, but it will work.

• Whole egg
The whole and un-cracked fresh egg will be a good Rialto animal trapping bait for the raccoons, but it will lower the possibilities of catching other animals. You can place the egg on top of the trap just behind the trigger pan and then you are good to go.

To sum it up, there are various types of Rialto exterminator baits that you can use to trap the raccoons, but if you do not want to deal with other animals, these may be useful, but if you do not want to deal with a lot of unwanted beings, you can try these, they will work.
